Although alloy buttons have become an indispensable part of clothing accessories, there are still many people who may not fully understand the difference between alloy buttons and metal buttons or may even think that metal buttons and alloy buttons are the same type of button. In fact, there are significant differences between metal buttons and alloy buttons.

First and foremost, in terms of material, metal buttons are typically made from metals such as iron, copper, aluminum, and steel through processes like forging, rolling, cutting, and other physical manufacturing methods.

On the other hand, alloy buttons are generally produced by die-casting zinc alloy, making them lighter, more durable, highly corrosion-resistant, and cost-effective. Nowadays, most clothing manufacturers prefer using alloy buttons as their primary clothing fasteners. Among metal materials, iron buttons are more cost-effective and easier to process, while copper and aluminum buttons exhibit better flexibility and corrosion resistance, making them suitable for important components. Overall, metal buttons and alloy buttons each have their share of the market and serve specific purposes. Alloy buttons are further categorized into alloy rivets, alloy snap buttons, alloy shank buttons, and alloy sewing buttons.
